Love this sub shop. I usually get the Cali Club w/o Thunder Sauce, a brownie, and a coke.

Gotta love Thundercloud!!!Serious shout-out to Richard and Monica for their awesomeness the evening of our recent visit!I brought my elderly mother... less in-house diners less distractions/noise better conversation with her for our sit-down meal. She kept remarking about the beautiful shade trees and outdoor seating area there think we 'll be eating outside next time, lol! Mom gave me ideas of what she wanted to eat; Monica and Richard made the perfect recommendations! She couldn 't stop raving about the soup and the craftsmanship of her sandwich look! it 's the perfect balance of tuna salad, bread, lettuce and tomato .Me?! Turkish Delight is my go-to fave! White or wheat? I 'm the person who says whichever is squishier fresher in my mind , lol. Interesting: 90 of the time, it 's on wheat.Monica shared what may be my next order: a Chickish Delight ?Most memorable visit to Thundercloud Subs in 20 years! Running in to pick up an order doesn 't necessarily drive me to post a review. However in this case, it was a selected place to dine-in, and Richard Monica made the visit warm inviting, and the entire experience has this Bee Cave location on the will return to list!Extra background: I take my mom out to eat to see the world outside of her facility. To me, Lakeway is extremely limited re: reasonably priced restaurants of food genre she likes , combined with seating that 's conducive of conversation. Getting tired of the usual few. Was sad that the TC Subs in Lakeway closed, but that 's ok because Bee Cave isn 't far!

The staff at this location are lively, welcoming, and very helpful! As for vegetarian options, there's plenty to choose from: lettuce, tomato, red onion, hummus, avocado, sprouts—the list is extensive. Add some "thunder sauce," and you’ll have a delicious sandwich! For those with dietary restrictions, they offer gluten-free rolls, and thankfully, they don't microwave them into a rock like some other places do!
