Long John Silver's - Beech Grove

Food was great, the service was awful and rude. Placed order online and when I pulled up to the speaker, was told very rudely they were closed and to come inside if it was a pickup. They close at 10pm and it was 7:10 when I came to get my order so thatdoesn?t make any logical sense. Since Covid you think they would still take precautions since the inside of this place isclearly unsatisfactory to cleanliness. It?s obvious when walking inside immediately.

Horrible. She lied to me. I paid. She had me pull up past the drive thru window so she could cook my order fresh. No one was behind me or all the time I was there. She brings out my food 10 minutes later. I pulled in their parking lot to eat it. It wasnot even warm. NONE of it was cooked fresh. It was awful!

The food was generally good and fresh. However, the counter staff forgot to provide us with some items, and we had to remind them. It was nice to be able to go in and sit down, especially since most Long John Silver's locations are closed for indoor dining.

I eventually sent my husband inside from the drive-thru line, and even then, it took him at least 15 minutes to get our food. As for the meal itself, I know their chicken has a special batter, but this time it was excessively crispy to the point that it made it difficult to eat. The chicken was a bit tough, maybe even overcooked. The hushpuppies were definitely overdone—more like balls of grease with hardly any breading. To top it off, my strawberry cheesecake dessert was thrown in with the food, so it arrived warm instead of cold. I'm really sad to say that I was overall very dissatisfied with this visit. There aren’t many Long John Silver's locations near where I live, and it’s disappointing that this one didn’t meet my expectations.

The woman at the drive-thru was incredibly rude, the rudest person I've encountered in Indianapolis. She had scabs on her arms, which made it seem like she was really unhappy to be doing her job. The food was just okay and didn't meet the usual Long John Silver's standards. I would recommend looking for a better restaurant.
