Pastelaria O Castelo - Beja

We had read about this bakery near the castle on tripadvisor and wanted to visit on Sunday, but it was closed so went first on the morning on Monday. I have a few cursed tarts (we think! pasteis de nata, as well as coffee and. a juice. the baked were really nice. the nata seemed easy to break apart, but the crust was crisp and the custard was soft and gooey as it should be. the short teas were delicious a tade like more delicious and it had no strong smell and taste of goat cheese in contrast to some we had the day before in serpa. overall we enjoyed the bakery we had in this beautiful bakery. if we had stayed in beja for a long time, we would not have brought back any more good!

This tiny pastelaria with a few tables outside has incredible baked, especially the coconut macaroons, which seem to be their specificity. a perfect place to breakfast. very friendly service.

Good coffee, great people. full local for the good caffe. delta! and they also make food and it is a bakery for sweets. I just loved it!

Small but beautiful place with very beautiful fresh and handmade queijadas de requeijão. amazing view of the castle!

Bolos maravilhosos, quentinhos, acabados de fazer ali ao lado. Atendimento fantástico! Vale a pena aproveitar um café acompanhado de um bolo maravilhoso, ao lado do Castelo de Beja.
