Írjon visszajelzéstWe stopped here for breakfast as we stayed in the hotel next door. A fairly limited breakfast menu with mostly. Eggs and toast but decent coffee, nicely presented and deleivered to the table after ordering at the counter. Staff are pleasant.
This is a great little cafe. Food was good at a good price. It was made fresh and came out quick. The only let down is staff. The staff are nice and polite but the accent make them sound annoyed and abrupt. Also, staff making chit chat to one another while you are trying to make and pay for an order is just not on. A smile would go miles.
Been a few months ago and coffee took forever and came out cold. Thought we would try again and it was the same. The Unpleasant female behind the coffee machine was ticking staff off sarcastically in front of customers. I should have left but didn't... Coffee takes forever and for two of us comes out separately. Will not go again.
I always try to find something positive in my reviews and in this case, it'd be the size of the breakfast. A generous serve for $17. BUT there's nothing special about the food here. If you walk past on a weekend morning you'll see how popular and busy it is (which is why I stopped in), and if you're happy with food from the 1980s then it's the place for you (think poorly cooked eggs, bacon, tomato, etc on soggy bread). If you enjoy a contemporary spin on your food then there are plenty of other places within very short drives that'll cater to your needs. I'm very partial to plan eggs on toast, but the bread needs to be toasted at least. Much better eating value at other local cafes.
Beppes is located in the Belconnen Markets and is a good place for a coffee. I was looking for a cheap lunch, and it was a bit hard to find on this menu. However I settled for a Caesar salad, and was not disappointed. It was well made and very tasty, with added chicken.
