Belfountain Inn

Well, once again we were thoroughly impressed with our Friday lunch at the Belfountain Inn! My beautiful lady had the cheese burger with soup of the day and from the moaning I kept hearing, I'm pretty sure she enjoyed it. I had the cod sandwich of the day special with fries and it was very flavourful and delicious. Our server was very friendly and helpful and made it another memorable visit.

This restaurant is right beside the Credit River. Food was excellent; seared tuna salad, cheese steak sandwich, fried tomato sandwich, creme brûlée, cheesecake. Not too big. Call to reserve. Open Wed-Sunday. Would be lovely for medium size wedding or similar gathering. Beautiful setting. Only a restaurant. Was an Inn many years ago.

This 8 year old restaurant was wonderful. We had the mushroom pasta, calamari and chicken chili as mains. The three desserts were decadent:- lava cake, creme brule and cheesecake were large enough to share and worth every bite. We plan to visit often!

Was just out taking a leisurely drive in the country on a rainy day - when we came across the Belfountain Inn. With stomachs grumbling we decided to give it a try - and very happy that we did.Ambiance is lovely - but the food and service were execellent - will definitely return!

We had a fabulous day in the Caledon area, including Belfountain. We weren't sure of what to expect when we saw hundreds of bikers outside the Belfountain Inn. Don't get me wrong - I am not saying anything negative about bikers but wondered if the food may be more " fast food ". What we encountered was some very creative and delicious dishes. We are several appetizers including deep fried olives, a delicious soup, smoked salmon with fried capers. The atmosphere was lovely- overlooking the gardens in a tastefully decorated dining room.
