La Palma Mexican - Bellefontaine

Absolutely delicious! This restaurant holds a special place in my heart (and stomach, haha). It was my late great aunt's favorite spot, and we always brought her her favorite meal when we visited her in the nursing home. She just passed away last week, and we decided to have La Palma cater her celebration of life. They did a fantastic job accommodating our large order, which was incredibly helpful for our big family. We also dined there this evening after arriving in town from Canada, and we thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Thank you for being such a wonderful establishment!

We visited during a quieter time, and the staff was very attentive. Our takeout order was ready in about 10 minutes. The team was friendly and even brought us some water while we waited. The food was good, meeting the expectations you would have for a typical Mexican restaurant.

I visited the restaurant for Father's Day and ended up being charged twice. When I called to speak with the manager, they insisted that they had never charged anyone twice and offered no assistance. They essentially accused me of lying. Additionally, there were flies everywhere while we were trying to eat. Since I haven't received any help regarding this issue, I have no intention of returning. I have a screenshot of the double charge that they claimed never occurred, which I will attach to this review. The way I was treated and spoken to on the phone was absolutely unacceptable!

My friend took me to La Palma and I couldn't wait to go back with my family.

It was okay. If you don't enjoy seasoned food and you enjoy bland this is the place for you.
