Decent quality, especially with so many local sushi places sliding downhill in quality lately. A bit expensive though, expect downtown Bellevue prices.
This was my first Sushi experience so my perspective is a bit lacking. But it was very good. Everything seems clean and well maintained. Due to the kind of place it is you don't experience much of the staff itself so not much to say there. My wife and I had probably 1 of everything or at least it felt like it and I didn't dislike anything I had. The price tag at the end was a little more than I had expected though. But seeing as this was my first experience with it I am not sure how normal that is.
Sushi on a conveyor belt! But it's much more affordable than the one endorsed by Iron Chef Morimoto. While conveyor belt sushi is typically cheaper, the downside is that you might end up eating sushi that has been around for a while. At Sushi Maru or any other good sushi place, if you’re like me, you can simply order from your server, and they will bring you freshly made dishes! The cooked food is also quite tasty. I especially enjoyed the soft shell crab and yakisoba. And if you're a fan of salmon roe, the wonderful people at Maru serve enough from two that you can create four servings. Check out the picture!
We had an amazing experience! The buffet offered a constant array of options, with delicious flavors that kept us excited about what to try next. My family and I really enjoyed our time here; however, it’s worth noting that the seating fills up quickly since there are only a few booths around the food conveyor belt!
