Brody's Steakhouse - Belton

A solid meal at a reasonable price! My steak was cooked just right. The service was decent. Don't come here expecting a $35 steak for only $22; what you get is a good $22 steak!

I decided to give this restaurant a try, but I left feeling very disappointed. We paid $6.00 for about 10 slices of what claimed to be spicy fried pickles, but they were not spicy at all. The ribs were tough, although they did have a decent flavor. The seasonal vegetables were lacking in freshness – they were canned asparagus. My husband's steak was fatty, but it did taste good. However, the beans were completely bland. The best part of the meal was the salad, but it’s hard to go wrong with that. Overall, we won’t be returning; there are countless better dining options out there.

If you haven't had the chance to visit this restaurant yet, make sure to go at least once. If you enjoy steak and loaded potatoes, you'll love it here. The steaks are always delicious and tender. The staff is friendly and accommodating. They've done some renovations, but the place still has a lovely atmosphere. I went during the busy season, and it was open and welcoming. Great food!

4/2018- Yummy!!! Really friendly service and delicious food. I had the Brody Sirloin lunch. It was by far one of the best lunches for the price I've ever had. Rolls were soft, macaroni and cheese was great! A return visit. Baked pickles were also a delicious appetizer. You have to try!

What a great dining experience! Our waiter, Dean, along with 2 of the owners, made us feel very welcome. My wife and I ordered and split the dinner chicken fried steak with sweet potato fries and a side salad. The steak was thick and delicious, and it cut with a fork (nothing like those thin and grisly types you typically find). The fries were yummy with just the right crispness. Salad was fresh with green lettuce, boiled eggs and tomatoes and excellent honey mustard dressing. After we finished cleaning our plates, we let them talk us into trying their life changing chocolate lava cake which came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top, and, wow, they were absolutely correct! We left full and pleasantly surprised by how great evening was. We left feeling like family and plan to return soon.
