Abe Capannas Detroit Pan Pizza - Bend

Wonderful atmosphere with indoor and outdoor spaces. Real wood fires, beer, wind and a great whiskey selection. The pizza is all prepared from scratch and super yummy. It is a popular spot so expect to wait but the staff is kind and the pizza is well worth it.

Pretty good. Flavors are spot on. The bottom of the crust though was inconsistent and not crispy like youd expect from a Detroit style pizza. The edges were spot on crispy. We had two pizzas and one was perfect the other as they say on the Great British baking show had a soggy bottom. Well give them another try. The salad is good and one order is enough for two.

This place is great! It's Detroit style and done right. Good balance of the meat cheese and sauce. Second time there and I will be back. The only thing is I would recommend smaller pizza rather than the large. It tends to get a little messy and wet forbigger pizza and the center pieces can lose the bottom crunch.

Abe Capana’s and Crosscut have been a must visit destination of ours each time we are in bend. The pizza is insanely good, with fresh and unique toppings. Don’t let the small trailer fool you, it’s really good and pairs perfectly with the variety of pints being served at the Warming Hut no. 5.
