Hola! - Bend

Great place to eat. My group of 4 had lunch and a few drinks. The service and the food were great. I recommend this place and will be going back.

We happened upon this restaurant by chance after our original reservation fell through, and I'm so glad we did! Hola was fantastic. There were four of us, so we got to sample a bit of everything, and everything was delicious—even the drinks! Our server was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. I would definitely recommend it. Although we don't live in Bend, if we ever find ourselves here again, we will certainly return!

I was in town for some fantastic skiing and wanted to treat myself to some delicious Mexican food afterward. This restaurant didn't disappoint and also offered some excellent Peruvian dishes. There are actually three locations in town. I decided to try the Aji de Gallina Plate, which featured shredded chicken breast and peas in a creamy Peruvian sauce, accompanied by a boiled egg. It was served with white rice and bolitas de causa, which are cold, chile lime-infused mashed potatoes.

We've dined at the Hola! in Sunriver several times, but had yet to sample the one in Bend until tonight. The menu had some slight variations, but we were able to find dishes we enjoyed. The weather was pleasant, and since it was quite noisy inside, we chose to sit outside. The drinks were excellent—my husband ordered the Bend Old Fashioned, and I opted for the Vanilla Margarita. As for the food, my husband had three carne asada tacos, while I enjoyed a chicken chimichanga and a chicken enchilada. The waitstaff was very friendly and attentive.

Hola has the best margaritas in town, no contest. When you order one margarita, you're actually getting 2 and a half because it comes with a shaker full of extra! If you're with a group, you can also get a pitcher. Among all the flavors they offer, the red cactus is my favorite. I’m not quite sure what it is, but it's perfectly sweet and so easy to drink! Plus, they offer free chips and salsa—definitely try the green salsa, it's the best. So even if you're just there for the margaritas, you'll have a little snack to enjoy too!
