Golden Flavours - Bendigo

Great food, Indian is my favourite, excellent service, and really really good prices. Absolutely can't do enough for you, friendly, and caring, my Nan needs things cooked well and to a soft texture, that is not problem at all for them, they ask always how is the meal, and it's always fab. My favourite is the paneer makhni, just amazing. We are regulars! Oh and the pizza is good too!

Decided to try the pizza from Golden Flavours as we have had lots of other food from here and have not been disappointed as yet. We ordered via tuckerfox two regular pizzas; the house special pizza (napoli, garlic, cheese, ham, mushrooms, capsicum, onion, pineapple, olives, bacon, salami, prawns, anchovies) and the garlic prawn pizza (creamy garlic sauce, cheese, onion, capsicum, and fresh prawns). We were told 45 mins for delivery which is fine for a Saturday night when we didn’t order until 7pm.Unfortunately it was an hour later that our meal arrived. (Fifteen minutes late). Golden Flavours have been getting their delivery times a little bit off the last few times we ordered (the first time we ordered they were before the predicted time, the next two on the time, then the next four times after the time they have stated). We have overlooked it as their food is amazing. Id rather they be honest about the time (say it is going to be an hour) rather than say less time and be late.Anyway… we were surprised at the size of our ‘regular’ pizzas, they were more what I would call small. At $11.90 they were the same price as the amazing bigger pizzas from places like Nimzy/Sally’s/Luchianos.Despite the smaller than expected size they were both really nice and packed with flavour. Once again the taste of this place is high quality even though it seems like the time management factor is definitely slipping.

This is about the sixth time we have ordered from here but due to tripadvisor only letting me review a place once a month this is only my second review. Have had nothing but positive experinces, this is the most consistent place in Bendigo we have found so far in terms of service, value and tastiness of the food.Ordered from tuckerfox, two new items for us this time - beef burger with chips and the garlic prawns. Text message saying it would be 45 minutes - it was closer to an hour before we had a knock on the door but this was the first time they havent been early so I wasnt annoyed. The delivery man as usual was very friendly.Opened our food and first impressions were good. Lots to eat and looked nice. I had a heap of garlic butter sauce which was delicious with the large amount of rice I had been given. This was exactly what I had felt like eating with a few green beans to make me feel like I was having at least one serve of vegies with my dinner. The prawns were well cooked and had a yummy garlic flavour too.My partner was impressed with his beef burger and chips. Also a nice large meal leaving him feeling full and happy.Total cost was $44.40 with $6 of that being the delivery fee.

Delivered at wrong time, rice dish completely different to what is advertised, vindaloo sub-par. Delivery zone outside of 3.2km comes with a $6 fee

Didnt feel like cooking (as usual) but didnt want something too unhealthy. We both felt like a pub type meal with meat and vegies but couldnt actually be bothered leaving the house. Looked up tuckerfox and found this cafe that offered a good variety of foods from pizza, curries to pub type meals.I ordered the grilled salmon which comes with tomato pesto, potato and garlic beans. This was $20.90 which seems very reasonable for salmon. My partner ordered the chicken burger which sounded nice with grilled chicken inside, lettuce, tomato, cheese and chips. The burger was $18.00. Delivery was $6 which is more than most places that are further away. We actually live three minutes drive from this place but would rather pay for delivery than leave the house on a cold night.Food was advised to be 30 minutes wait. We had ordered at 6pm so this was a nice surprise. So happy to hear a knock at the door only 28 minutes later. A lovely lady handed over the food.Raced inside to open our containers. So impressed by how nice the food looked. The salmon meal looked so good with all the different components and the burger was a very generous size with loads of chips.Tucked into my meal. The salmon was so nice. Really well cooked. A large serving size too. The potatoes and garlic beans were also really, really tasty. Now for the even better bit...the tomato pesto. IT WAS AMAZING!!! It seemed to have dill and avocado throughout and maybe some kind of a mustard sauce. It was just so delicous and I was given such a large serve (under my salmon). My partner tasted it and kept dipping his chips in it after that, he loved it too.The burger was reportedly really awesome too. The chicken was well cooked and the flavours all worked well together.We were both so happy with every aspect of the meal. That is a rare occurance as usually one of us finds fault with something. After tasting our meals and the speed they were delivered to us we are very happy to pay $6 delivery fee. We would even pay more if they are going to always deliver with a high standard of food.If we were super rich we would get our food from here every night.
