Sailor Jack's - Benicia

DELICIOUS. I’m not a huge seafood person but this restaurant is changing that. The tuna steak was amazing. I’m definitely going back.

We had a lovely lunch sitting outside at the restaurant. The service and salads were great and we will go again.

The staff was amazing from the time we walked in. We were greeted immediately and seated just as fast. The waitstaff was attentive, and our time dining was absolutely wonderful.

This was not our first time at this restaurant and unfortunately, our experience this time was not good. Despite having reservations, we had to wait for someone to seat us. Another couple ahead of us had to seat themselves. Our drinks took a long time to arrive, my husband's order was messed up, and the server who brought it seemed unhappy when we mentioned it. Our waiter was good but seemed overworked. These were just a few of the things that went wrong during our visit.

We had a fantastic lunch experience! Our server Sean was friendly and attentive, and he recommended the lunch special salad which was delicious. We were seated at a great table upstairs by a very kind young adult, although we didn't catch his name.
