Chili's Grill - Benton Harbor

We requested to speak with the manager, and Brock came over. He was extremely friendly and explained that he has six new cooks in the kitchen, emphasizing that the food served was not up to his standards. He kindly comped our entire bill and even insisted on sending us home with a dessert. Our server was also friendly and apologetic about the food issues. Overall, I’m giving this restaurant four stars, but this rating is primarily for the outstanding customer service we received rather than the food itself. I would be willing to give this place another shot, and I hope the new cooks work towards improving their skills. Everyone has to learn on the job!

We attempted to dine at this restaurant today, but as soon as we walked in, we were informed that we would have to wait at least 10 minutes for a table due to a shift change. I don’t think that’s the best message to send to four families arriving together, so we decided to take our business elsewhere. Fortunately, we found another nearby restaurant where we were welcomed warmly, seated right away, and able to order without delay. Additionally, I've tried to place orders ahead online several times without success. Chili's Corporate should ensure that this location properly represents their brand.

Chili's has stepped their game up since I've been a few years ago and I'm grateful for the additions of the menu. I give 4 stars for the food as it was delicious, but the 5th star came from Liz, our server. She was very welcoming and accommodating. Nexttime you're at Chili's, try the Smoke House option!

We went to the restaurant with three adults and two children, and it was nearly empty. We were told there would be a 10-20 minute wait. When we noticed that the toilet paper was out, we informed the hostess, but she did nothing about it. It felt like she was avoiding us and hid behind the kitchen when we tried to ask her a question. Overall, it was a terrible experience, so we decided to leave and ended up receiving much better service elsewhere.

We called and said we could come together with a bigger group. we arrived and were immediately sat and cared for. our server was great and everything came out in a contemporary fashion and was delicious! our server was on him with refilling and prebussing and had a big job. we will definitely come back.
