Heidi's Brooklyn Deli - Benton Park

First time here. I had a veggie sammy. It was delicious! The staff was helpful and friendly!

They've got an interesting menu with some off-the-beaten-path choices. The cost is about the same as Sequoia, so it's a coin toss between the two if you want a sandwich. I generally don't go into parking lots that have speed bumps, but my wife loves this place, so I have to break my rule from time to time.

The food is amazing here. You have to try the Cajun turkey if you like heat. So good.

Fresh sandwich bread every day, baked in the store, without preservatives. Lots of interesting sandwiches.

I like Heidi's even though it is a bit out of my way. You are allowed to ask for a sample, and that can be worthwhile. I ordered the clam chowder and a turkey sandwich...great lunch. I recommended this place for a great sandwich made to your liking. The staff is very helpful, also.
