Bartleby's Seitan - Bentonville

They do an incredible job with their fried seitan patties and nuggets something you don't see a lot in the Boston area vegan scene. The homemade sauces are incredible too. I've managed to get some of my meat eating co workers to come along with me and they all love it!

Find this truck for a really solid lunch. It's fried seitan with a variety of sauces, on a delicious bun. I only wish the truck was near me more often!

Tried Barleby's twice. First time was at an even held by Taza chocolate over the summer. My sister and I had a bad experience because they lost our order and when we realized ours wasn't coming out I think they gave us spicy patties on our sandwich instead because they were out of original. We weren't crazy about it but I decided to try it again on a Friday during work. This time I got the original nuggets and fried pickles. Totally redeemed themselves in my eyes. Not something I would have often but it is definitely worth a try and quite yummy. I loved all the sauce options.

My carnivorous coworkers, who won't even go with me to Veggie Galaxy, will gladly fork over $10 at Bartleby's Seitan Stand. The lines keep getting longer and I keep having to show up earlier to not wait long for a sandwich. The flavor profile of everything has the kind of depth that would keep the most discriminating vegan gourmand coming back for more. The sauces are delightful, as are the sides. What is most remarkable however is how this food truck has exposed the public to vegan eating in an enticing way. The staff are also very friendly which certainly adds a welcoming element to the whole experience. I hope to return to this food truck for years to come.
