The food here is incredibly flavorful and satisfying, although it is a bit pricey. However, this restaurant always satisfies my noodle cravings. Just make sure to request no eggs, fish sauce, or oyster sauce, as they are added automatically!
I neglected toss checking when I was in Berkeley a few months ago, but it was so good that I thought to do that now. The format of the menu and the informal service should be seen from the pictures of the menu and the interior. I will only add that the food was consistently excellent, and during a week in the city I found myself there several times.
A little expensive, but it's worth it. Everything we ordered was delicious! I tried the cashew nut special, man got green curry, and the kids shared a noodle dish she created. I would try this place again in a heartbeat!
The second time to eat here was on 2/9/22 for dinner. Service, speed of kitchen and ambience/cleaning was impeccable. But I ended up with food poisoning after meal. In addition to food poisoning, the Hokkien noodles I got Thai/Japanese style (extra spicy), was far too sweet. Maybe it's a personal preference, but I never had an Asian inspired noodle dish that was this sweet. Veggies were seasoned and cooked. Prices were not cheap for their portion sizes. If it wasn't for food poisoning, I would give this place 3 stars. After a forgotten first visit and a less than desirable second visit, I doubt that I return. I'm sorry for the 1 star :
