Da Jia Le - Berlin

There were some great dishes but overall I was disappointed by our meal. The service was not very good we had to wait about 15 minutes to order even asking multiple times. They also forgot about our second drink order. Some of the food was tasty but some was not good the fried prawns were overcooked, the Szechuan potatoes were too acidic, the fish soup was too salty, and even the rice was too overcooked. The hotpot and tofu dishes we got were great though. Also, the allergen information on the menu was not correct. For example, dishes on the menu that said they had soy sauce in them would not have gluten and soy listed as an allergen. As someone with allergies, this was quite disappointing and anxiety inducing. Overall there are other Chinese restaurants in Berlin that have better food and a better experience!

The restaurant may fall a bit, but eating is delicious. there are around 12 vegetarian dishes that are almost all as well as vegan. I put very much the very spicy Sichuan style tofu and as an appetizer the smoked tofu with coriander that was absolutely delicious. they also serve a really good Bavarian craft beer, which is quite difficult to find in berlin. be prepared, however, that there is a lot of meat around them in the restaurant.

Do not recommend the place High rating doesn't look legit here Atmosphere is not there, the interior was looking really bad without attention to details. Which I thought would be compensated by food. However, food was a disappointment as well. The green tea I ordered had a strong bad taste of tap water. And it was served in a broken pot. The tofu dish was hot from chilly, otherwise poor in flavor. Vegetarian dumplings were nice.

Das Restaurant ist original chinesisch. Also wirklich von Chinesen betrieben und gekocht. Das Essen schmeckt daher sehr gut! Bin schon mehrmals hier gewesen. Service auch super!
