Restaurant Seehaase - Berlin

In diesem Jahr feiert der Schneehase 40 jähriges Jubiläum. Das Ausflugslokal liegt direkt am Wannsee. Die Speisekarte ist überschaubar und bietet kleine Snacks, Pasta, Flammekuchen und auch leckere Fischgerichte an. Die gemischte Vorspeisenplatte war frisch und schmackhaft. Am Nachmittag gibt es eine gute Kuchenauswahl.Hervorzuheben ist auch der äußerst freundliche Service. Wir kommen gerne zum Schneehasen und genießen beim Essen den schönen Blick über den Wannsee.

Das Ambiente am Wannsee ist super genial. Das Essen (Tomatensuppe, Salat mit Hähnchenstreifen sowie Boulletten aus Lamm und Rind) schmeckt super. Der Kellner war sehr sehr freundlich.Die Toiletten könnten erneuert werden.

We visited the restaurant on a sunny day in June after visiting the House of the Wannsee Conference next door. This memorial remembers the horrific conference where leaders of the Nazi regime systematically planned the extermination of the Jewish People. Needless to say, it was a very somber experience.This restaurant was the perfect place for our group to rest and reflect on what we had just seen and read. The restaurant is located directly in front of a dock, and it provides a great view of the boats and the water. The service is very friendly and the food is delicious. I especially enjoyed my salad with chicken breast. The chicken was moist and the dressing flavorful.

Lovely pleasant location literally on the shore of the Wannsee adjacent to the Wannsee House. Outdoor terrace, umbrellas, sun shining on the water, the setting was idyllic, which admittedly feels odd next dood to that building. However the setting is the only thing this place has going for it. My German is good enough to order food, and has never caused me a problem before. So I ordered, a half litre of beer, a litre bottle of sparkling mineral water (both listed on the menu), a coke, am omellette and the house flamekeuche. The same waiter brought the drinks first, 0.3 L of beer and a small glass of mineral water plus the coke. Odd I thought but the waiter dashed away before I could correct him, oh well I'll order more when the food arrives I thought. Food arrived, omellette well overcooked but edible apparently, flamekeuche looked OK but when I tasted it the onions on top were very strong, almost raw, while the ham was incredibly salty. I asked for another beer and a bottle of water from the waitress, who seemed harrassed and brushed me off with a ja, ja.Ate some flamekeuche and waited, ate a bit more, getting difficult as so salty and I was getting more and more thirsty. Waqitress dashed past serving other tables, tried to catch her eye, she ignored me. By this stage I had eaten half the flammekeuche but could eat no more without a drink. The first waiter passed by, asked him, he nodded. We waited. By this time my wife had finished her ommellete and the flammekeuche was stone cold. It was now 25 minutes since I had first asked for a drink and 10 minutes since I had managed to ask the waiter.Forget the drinks, we'll just have the bill I said to him- he merely shrugged, no apology whatsoever. We did not leave a tip.

Место действительно козырное. Этим и берут. Рядом есть другой ресторан "Bootshaus Bolle" - очень помпезный, напыщенный, самовлюблённый, где на тебя смотрят свысока, где всё дорого и всё заказано. Народу нет, а мест тоже нет! А "Seehaase" вот он - простой, тёплый, уютный. Интерьер стильный, горит камин, обстановка очень домашняя. После полуторачасовой прогулки по окрестностям Ванзее в конце ноября это то, что нужно. Милая официантка Хана с лицом девушки из Хабаровска приняла заказ. Рыбный суп, типа УХА, за 5.9, я бы ни за какие коврижки не стал бы есть, если бы не был так голоден и с холоду. Кисляк, отдаёт вкусом Lemon Grass и жутко пересолёный. Знаете, что я сделал? Я разбавил суп пивом! Классная фишка, кстати. Соль ушла и вкус получше стал. А вот форель на гриле была великолепна - с хрустящей корочкой снаружи и сочная внутри. Очень положительная форель! За два пива и обед заплатил 30.6 евро+чаевые.Итог: за неимением другого и лучшего, Seehaase это конечно же вариант. Но кухню надо улучшать!Специально в этот ресторан не сходишь, да и не получится!Совместите прогулку по берегу Ванзее и по живописной улице Am Grossen Wannsee с посещением Виллы Либермана, Дома Ванзейской конференции и обедом на берегу озера в ресторане Seehaase.Идеальный вариант!
