Írjon visszajelzéstI've been visiting Lalo's restaurants since childhood. Every birthday celebration was held there, and it holds a special place in my heart. It's been years since my last visit, but we decided to stop for lunch before heading to Brookfield Zoo. The food did not disappoint and brought back a flood of memories. I can't believe they still serve the chicken soup! The waitstaff was friendly, and we all had a wonderful lunch.
This place consistently impresses with its food and service. Gloria was our server, and when we had an issue with our Margaritas, Hector, the manager, resolved it promptly.
This restaurant is fantastic! From the start, the chips and salsa are delightful—you can really taste the freshness of the corn. The soup is excellent, and the food, especially the chicken, is perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. The prices are reasonable, and the ambiance is lovely.
We both celebrated our Mother's Days. Gloria our waitress was sweetly attentive. The additional staff, Busboy and Hostess were also professional and attentive to our needs. Our foods were delivered faster than expected, emptied plates were immediately removed and our chips and dip were almost immediately refilled. Our food was full of taste, served hot and fresh with beautiful and warm tortillas. We ordered enchiladas Verdes, flautas de papas, banderillas, horchata and a frozen guava margarita.
Lalos is still Lalos! I was terrified after eating at one of the franchise stores that Lalos was gone, but it's not! It is still hands down one of the best Mexican restaurants in Chicago...or most other places for that matter. If you tried another location and didn't like it, come here! The pickled vegetables, the chicken soup, the guacamole and the Margaritas are all fantastic!
