Paisans Pizza - Berwyn

Great food, but lots of screens and loud music. A little too frenetic for conversation which was disappointing.

We ordered nachos and they came out wrong. When they brought out the order again they were missing the meat. Our waitress only came once to ask how we were doing. Plates were never brought, refill on drinks were not offered. We waited for our food a long time. I understand it was on a Friday but I’ve been there on Fridays and service was never this bad. Other then that our pizza was delicious as always.

We were seated by a host. She sat us in a back corner booth next to a lady with three small children. As they were already eating appetizers, my guess one of the children was already screaming prior. Screamed the entire time we were there. The waitress even commented that he was loud. This restaurant is huge it was not crowded. There were people sitting in other rooms. After our meal, on way back from restroom I confronted host. She at first said she sat us there because of lack of wait service, but when I pointed out there were other people in the other rooms, she said it was because I made a reservation that was the reason we got the table we did! Really? Told her due to the nearby car show we thought it would have been a good idea to have a reservation and we were looking forward to eating there, but it was miserable (kid was STILL screaming) even tho Paisans food is good. Was it because we booked thru open table, or because the host was doing her job poorly? It was NOT that crowded. She definately could hear the child from where her check in desk was. I pointed this out to her when speaking to her too to no prevail. I don’t think she cared

Very great food, great service and an even better vibe. Samantha was great!

Mercedes was an excellent server and the service was great. The pizza was well made and was amazing.
