Írjon visszajelzéstI 'm not sure what happen to the way Firehouse Subs was or operated in the past. The customer service is just blah at this location... I stopped coming to this location a few years ago due to the customer service. I live in the area, so I decided to give it a try eat something fresh. So I ordered and the cashier says, We don 't have large . My thought was how are you making small and medium, but have no large. Well a customer came in after me, and the cashier accommodated by making a large sandwich by putting a medium and a small together. I could do nothing, but laugh inside thinking This is what I get for coming back Then they were out of some toppings and a medium box to put my medium sandwich in. As I sat waiting on my sandwich, that I now regretted ordering, I see one of the employees behind the counter touch her face and the other touch her hair twice. I just don 't know what happen to the Firehouse Subs that I really liked, because of the cool and welcoming atmosphere. If the standard has dropped or if there is no standard at all ... discard everything above. I just really don 't know what happened...
I ordered take out through the app today and when I got back to work with my food, I noticed a nice little note from Keke on my sandwich container saying Have a great day Ok -Keke- and on another it said Love you Thank you Keke for the smile! I wish all employees were like you. I wish I had seen the messages while I was still at Firehouse, but since I didn 't, I hope you see this... I hope you have a great day as well. <3
To put it simply, I wouldn't recommend this places to my worst enemy. I went in when is was about 2 hours from closing. First off, they messed up my order. It was supposed to be 3 12 inch subs, all the same type. What did I get? 3 different types of 6 inch subs. The cashier refused to fix it so I had to just keep them. After I got my food, the employees decided to blast music throughout the store via a Bluetooth speaker. Finally to top it off, I found a hair in the food. If you want an environment that is disrespectful, loud, and gross then this place is for you.
First off we had an online order that was supposed to be ready by 5:15. We got there at 5:20 and our food wasn't ready. It would have been fine if they were busy. But they were not and the manager was outside socializing with a group of people and when she finally came inside she was complaining about having to come in and work. They did not get my daughter's order right. My wife's sandwich was horrible. As was mine. I do not think we will be going back to this location anymore. This is a picture of my wife's sandwich. It was supposed to be an Engineer as it comes on gluten free bread.
Since the Firehouse is closed in Hoover, you'll need to consider other locations like Homewood, Brook Highland, or McCalla. I had to pick up my online order from PetSmart in McCalla, so this was the most convenient choice. When we placed our order for a small Italian combo and a middle hooker, there were a few people ahead of us waiting for their food. It didn't take long for our name to be called, and we received our order. I have to say, we got our food faster than we ever did at the Hoover location, which always seemed slow. The food was tasty, but the fries looked a bit past their prime. I forgot to mention that I wanted no pickles, but it seems they still included them in the order.
