Sunday River Brewing Company - Bethel

We came in primed ready for a good time, but alas, a good time was nowhere to be found. Our group of 12 arrived at about 8 PM on a Saturday to a mostly empty place. We filled out some bar seats high top tables began ordering drinks from the bar. The bartender was so remarkably miserable, it seemed like we were doing her a disservice by being there. She barely spoke to us. She mostly just pointed, dropped drinks in front of us, held her hands out for our payment, looked at us with a near lethal amount of disdain. It was very obvious that we were a part of a bachelorette party, as the bride to be was dolled up in white (looking fabulous) we were a high energy (but respectful) group. Maybe that's why we got the mean girl treatment, but I can only speculate. I don't have the capacity for the mean girl treatment anymore, especially not in the year of the Barbie movie, 2023. We would've stayed for more than one round if the vibes weren't absolutely heinous. Pros: Nice hostess Pleasant outdoor seating Good location

Stopped here for lunch with the family. Really it was the best option for so many miles. Not many things seemed to be open along the route we took. Great big restaurant and lots of outdoor space too. Didn't try the beers but they looked good. Sweet potato fries and fries are delicious. Got the Pub Salad and o m g that thing is huge. Definitely a two person salad. Service was great! Gave it a 4 because the place could have been a little cleaner.

The food at this restaurant was excellent! The ambiance inside was lovely and the staff were fantastic. I decided to try the lobster roll and it was absolutely delicious! The beer selection was also quite good. Overall, this is a great spot to grab a meal for lunch or dinner.

We had a quick afternoon getaway at SRBC and decided to sit at the bar. We were greeted by Lindsay, the bartender, who was fantastic. She helped us with our beer selection and menu choices. Her energy was infectious and it's great to have such an enthusiastic employee. It's rare to find such quality employees these days. Our meals were incredibly delicious as well. We will definitely be back.

After skiing at Sunday River Ski Resort, we visited this restaurant and received excellent service! Our waitress was very friendly and accommodating. The roasted garlic pizza was delicious, with just the right amount of garlic. My friend enjoyed the blaz'n buffalo pizza as well. The wings, while not pictured, were decent but nothing special. However, we were a bit underwhelmed by the beer selection, which is why we are giving this restaurant 3 stars. We tried a flight of all eight beers, and while they were okay, none of us really loved any of them. We all have different preferences when it comes to beer, so usually at least one of us would find something enjoyable at a new brewery. The ****** Mary was also just okay. The mix had a good level of spice, but the snacks on top were uninspired and bland.
