This Italian restaurant serves really tasty food at an affordable cost. It's on one of the main streets for the night life in Bethesda. It's nice to be able...
I know this might sound absurd, but I command a calzone every new place I travel. It was something I showed up with in 1996 when I was younger.
We visited this restaurant for a farewell dinner and had a good experience. The service was excellent. The Sangria had a bit too much ice, but it was still tasty, although it could have been a bit stronger on the alcohol. All of the appetizers were delicious. The steak and fries dish could use a bit more seasoning, but was still enjoyable. The pizzas were outstanding, especially the multi-room one. The restaurant offers a variety of seating options, including a covered outdoor area, indoor seating, and outdoor seating. Overall, a great dining experience with plenty of choices.
The atmosphere and pizza are the main draws at this restaurant. I have been here a few times and really enjoyed the lively ambiance. It always feels bustling, with noticeable music that is not too loud. The wait staff is friendly and it is clear that they work well together as a team. The food is excellent, though I have not tried everything on the menu. The burrata is amazing, and the buffalo Brussels sprouts are a tasty snack. The salads are generously portioned and feature fresh greens, cheese, fruits, and vegetables. The pizza is cooked in a stone wood stove, and the dough is fantastic. The calzone was decent, with simple ingredients. The prices are very reasonable; my meal for two, including a full sangria carafe, two appetizers, a pizza, and pasta, came to around $50 before tip. Altri Bros offers great value on this foodie street in Bethesda.
