Had a great first date! a few minutes early to ask about gluten-free options and johanus was very friendly and helpful to certain dishes that would be good to eat. He didn't disappoint us because the angry laugh was amazing! we had a wonderful evening and will go back!

Great eating, service a bit rushed, invited to make space for next party

We were a party of two with an early dinner in a practically empty dining room. the host chose the next party of two to sit on a table right next to us so that it almost makes a table for four and private talks practically impossible. in a large room with only one other table, which is occupied, this seat arrangement makes the ambiente very unpleasant.

Large aromen gumbo had just enough kick, fried green tomatoes were light, crispy with a delicious pimento cheese. beautiful combination of granatapfel with the burrata. excellent selection of bourbons and funny cocktails. the place was full on a cold winter night, service was top notch will return again. our waitress was super sweet! I think her name was michele.

We sat in the back room. Nice and quiet as opposed to the front of the restaurant that was noisy.
