Írjon visszajelzéstWe had been fasting for our checkups. We asked the Dr. Where they go? They said Ross' was good. So we went there. Wasn't disappointed, are food was taste, they came to check if we needed more frequently. It was a clean quaint place. I had lemon blueberry pancake and crisp bacon. My husband had French toast with real maple suryp, bacon.
There was one server, and he was absolutely wonderful. Even though he was tending to others, he did not let anyone feel less important than the next. Absolutely magnificent!!!! I generally tip between 15 and 20 percent, but this waiter deserved at least 30..
We got there around 7 pm 4/7/23 . We were told right away that there was only 2 people working. He said he was the waiter and cook and bartender , he also was training a new cook in the back and he said it might be a little while. No biggie as we understood. We ordered well done burger and it came out completely raw along with other items that were not done as well. As for the waiter he did the best he could. If I was running the business, I would have closed the restaurant until you could get a sufficient amount of staff there to serve the customers. It’s not his fault but the owner or manager should of stepped up and made a better business decision. Hopefully you can figure the staffing issues out soon to retain customers.
I was a few times for breakfast Ross’, since I went to QC, and I always had a delicious meal. Good quality and quantity of food. We have the Papa and Country Omelette with a cinnamon roll order! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
We enjoyed our visit so much we had to go a second time while we were still in town. The cinnamon roll was literally the size of a dinner plate and so delicious. I loved the variety of food from kombucha and vegan options to classic diner favorites. Looking forward to our next time in the Quad cities so we can visit again.
