Maa Indian - Beverley

On New Year's Eve, my family and I decided to order takeout from Maa. We had dined at this restaurant earlier in the year and were very impressed with the service and food. After being stuck indoors for months and unable to celebrate Christmas with our family, we wanted to treat ourselves to some delicious Indian cuisine from Maa. We had difficulty getting through on the phone due to them being busy. Despite being informed that our food would be delivered in one to one and a half hours, several hours passed with no response to our calls. We eventually reached them and canceled our order, only to have someone show up with the food we had canceled. We had already eaten something else by then. This was a very disappointing experience, especially on New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, we will not be returning to Maa, even though we used to dine out there twice a week.

As soon as you step into Maa, you can sense that it is going to be a special experience, and we were not disappointed. We had made a reservation and were warmly welcomed by the owner, Mohammed, who seated us comfortably at our table. The first thing that stands out is how impeccably clean the restaurant is, and the enticing aroma of the spices being cooked is enough to make your mouth water. Our meal was absolutely superb, the best Indian food we have ever tasted. A heartfelt thank you to Mohammed and his staff for making our evening so memorable. Having tried all the Indian restaurants in Beverley, none of them compare to the exceptional quality of cuisine that Maa offers. We will definitely be returning. Jethro.
