Hamers - Bexley

We had a lovely lunch today in Hamers. The staff were as attentive as always, dealing with the lunch rush very well! The food was tasty and fresh. I was hoping that there would maybe have been a new non-meat salad added to the menu or perhaps the option to have the Caesar with grilled salmon or halloumi instead of chicken. Hamers is always clean, the staff are always welcoming and the food is always delicious. It's great that they now have an alcohol license and I hope they start to open in the evenings soon.

Love this place staff are always really friendly and go out of their way to see that you're ok and the service is good.

Their food is lovely but I normally go for the full English or bacon and egg sandwich which I can say is the best I've ever had. I get tearful just thinking about it.

Visiting my sister in England, we and her grandchildren went to this small eatery based on my niece's recommendation. The food was excellent and the staff extremely pleasant. I had a ploughman's sandwich, which was delicious. The meats were free range and/or organic, which is important to me and so reasonably priced.

Been many times before to this excellent little gem in the village,
