Stayed overnight. Smallest room ever!! The double bed was pushed against the wall so had to climb out the end. Only the bed and chest of drawers in the room, no space for anything else. No window except a sky light n the roof which didn't open. An enormous fan provided, which sounded like a jet engine so couldn't use at night. It could only circulate the already hot air in the tiny room anyway. The room was claustrophobic. It has since occurred to me that in the event of a fire in the room or the short corridor outside the room there is no way out as there is only the door and there is no opening window. I doubt if that is even legal for a hotel. Spider in the shower room on arrival, mouldy grout in the shower. The TV was so high on the wall you'd get neck ache looking up at it and it was at right angles to the bed. A couple of positives: the bed and pillows were clean and comfortable, towels soft and tea and coffee was provided in the room. At £80 the room was seriously overpriced. Rooms: Round the back of the pub. Teeny tiny room. Nearby activities: Busy popular pub restaurant Safety: No way out except the door in the event of a fire. Is that even legal? Noteworthy details: Close to station
