A hidden gem with incredibly friendly staff and amazing food. The dishes I tried were the best pub food I've ever had—simply fantastic! Service was top-notch, easily deserving a 5-star rating. The location also gets a 5! A great highlight for families, as it's very kid-friendly.

Fantastic village pub offering extensive evening menu, for a Wednesday the pub was fairly busy so glad I had booked in advance, the landlord was really friendly as were his staff. I opted for the beef in red wine pie with mash and veg and Mrs went for the fish pie, both meals were well presented and absolutely delicious, I really wanted to go for a pud but was to full to manage anything else. Service: 5

The Sunday roast was excellent, with smaller portion options available. It’s a traditional pub that has a lively atmosphere and wonderful staff. Location rating: 4/5.

Went here three times while staying nearby. Great pub food, generous portions and sensible prices. Landlord is very welcoming and all the serving staff are pleasant and efficient. Highly recommended.
