Trail's Grill Sports - Big Lake

We visited the restaurant once while we were away this month. I used to be a fan of Trails Bar Grill in Big Lake, but that's no longer the case. Since August, I've tried multiple times to reach the general manager and chef via email, Facebook, phone, and even through the Monticello Chamber of Commerce, but I haven't received a single response. I hoped to discuss my concerns with them directly rather than writing a review, but here we are.

I always receive excellent service and enjoy delicious food here. I love sitting at the bar and appreciating the ambiance. Keep up the great work!

The servers were friendly, the atmosphere was pleasant, and the place was clean, but unfortunately, the food was very disappointing. We had a party of 15, and 6 of us ordered a type of sandwich. My sandwich, a rub, was completely inedible—definitely the worst sandwich I've ever had. None of us could finish our meals, and when we brought our concerns to the staff, who were nice, they just brushed it off with a casual, "Oh good." I know some people enjoy this restaurant, but after this experience, I won't be coming back and I would caution others about our terrible experience.

We had an excellent experience at the restaurant! The customer service was outstanding, and our waitress was fantastic. The restaurant was very clean, and the food was delicious—everything was very tasty!

The food is excellent, and the service is friendly and swift. The atmosphere is great, featuring a bar and a separate dining area. It's also a fantastic spot for watching sports games.
