Good Food Conspiracy - BIG PINE KEY

Stopped in for a quick bite, lovely welcome from the 2 ladies there. A busy, quirky little store selling a variety of things. Lunch was good and very fresh, a mix of vegan, vegetarian and other choices to pick from .

Great little spot with tasty food, great produce and nice people! Shady backyard with plenty of seating where you can enjoy your food.

Bf (not vegan) had the broccoli soup and said it was the best broccoli soup he ever had, bar none. Really nice people, great shops. Will definitely be back.

I went here because there are not many vegan options in the area and when i found this place i was really excited to try it. i ordered a veggie burger and asked the woman behind the counter about their gluten free bun and whether it was vegan or not. she assured me it was, but when i asked to see the ingredients because of some food allergies i have and she brought it out it said it contained egg. we had a long conversation about my allergies and decided that the safest option for me would be to have the burger on a gluten free wrap, so she made my food and i took it to go. after a few minutes i opened the box to see she in fact put my burger on a bun despite the long conversation we had had about it and i could not eat it. i went back to the store to get it fixed and the woman was very apologetic but she did only remove the burger from the bread and put it into a wrap so there was still cross contamination. i decided to just accept it because i could not wait any longer for a new one. i luckily did not get sick, but the food was very bland and i would not get it again. the store employees were very nice but i’m not sure i would go back again.

If I could give this 5 starts I would. By far the best food in the area. The pesto melt with vegan cheese was amazing! They add sprouts and veggies to all wraps and it is very fresh!
