New China - Big Rapids

Great place, since I started school here three years ago. the lady is so beautiful and makes the best roasted rice ever. very authentic. my fav Chinese place. I went on a Monday night and it took only 10 minutes to get my food. so much food on dinner meals for such a good price. 10/10

Sometimes the wait time is a bit much on a busy day but the food more than pays off. It’s legit and really good. Egg rolls, steamed dumplings, and crab rangoons are SO GOOD and so is everything else that i’ve tried so far.

Best Chinese food I've ever had ... I've tried quite a few Chinese places and lived in several cities including Kansas City, Las Vegas, and Fort Myers area. The owner cooks the food. I ordered the Schezuan Chicken and it was awesome!

I'm a big fan of Chinese food, and I absolutely love the dishes here! I've been attending school in the area for three years, and I've stopped going to China One Buffet because their food never tastes fresh or authentic. New China is my favorite spot for Chinese cuisine in Baton Rouge. The prices are fantastic given the generous portion sizes, and the food is consistently delicious every time. I usually order the Beef Lo Mein Combo and the Hot and Sour Soup, both of which are the best I've had from any Chinese restaurant. While the customer service can sometimes be a bit lacking and the staff may seem grumpy, I've found that if you treat them with kindness, they can be very warm and friendly. One time, when my order took about five minutes longer than expected, the woman at the counter generously offered me an extra item at no charge! I highly recommend this place.
