Alberto's Mexican Cuisine - Big Sky

We are here twice now and are likely to visit many more times. The staff is friendly and attentive. We sat very fast and never had long empty glasses. The food is excellent and quite affordable for Big Sky. The margaritas are delicious, and they have a quite large selection of tequilas.

Great food and service. Salsa was fresh and my margarita was perfect. Recommend the fajita chicken salad!

The service was terrible. From host to waiter. I would recommend everywhere else. If you pay so much for food you would expect (at least) decent service. I'm in town for work and was here about 2 months. There are many places I would rather eat, and Mexican food is my absolute favorite! So this is one of the only Mexican restaurants in the city that means that many of me are coming. I'm not back. Not to mention surprisingly small portions. I hate to leave bad reviews, but coming here was definitely not the movement!

We ate here three times on a week trip. The food quality is excellent, while the salsa and the red enchilada sauce are standouts. The diving service was good. I took a star because of a rejection: Despite a mandatory tip on a $43 order, they did not contain chips and salsa and both Entree orders were wrong.

Stopped in on a somewhat busy night. Front staff seemed overwhelmed but we found seats at the bar and had a great post-hike meal. The special margs are the key selling point I think as the tacos weren't exactly life changing, but we'd go back again as long as bar and kitchen staff are consistent. A lot of the bad reviews seem to be extremely mild complaints people blow up about forgetting their one bad experience of not getting their unreasonable expectations shouldn't leave a mark on a restaurant long term. It's worth a shot, have a margarita and smile a bit.
