The Cabin Grill - Big Sky

Really good food. Walleye, Elch and Bison, were all delicious and I thought the Bison had the most taste. All were cooked for perfection. You made Cesar Dressing at home, which was great. Her demo glaze was full of taste. 4 stars only bc a little expensive

Excellent lunch and dinner spot! A great local restaurant with amazing drinks and staff. Fish and chips and burger for lunch were very good. Best tartar sauce Ive ever had. We come back all the time!

The Cabin bar and Grill restaurant is a good restaurant with fantastic ambiance. A great Western feel with a log cabin setting. The menu is diverse, offering everything from Beef, Bison, Elk, Trout and a plethora of other dishes. As a group of 8, we were able to try a variety of dishes. The meatballs were tasty but the consistency was a bit chewy. The trout, however, was delicious, both tender and flavorful with a wonderful sauce which did not overwhelm the natural state of the fish. The only suggestion I would have is for the staff and management not to argue with patrons on the preparation of the meal being served. Though expectation of rare, medium, well done, etc. vary for different individuals, the patron should have the last word on how meat should be prepared and not be debated upon semantics. Aside from this mishap, it is a good restaurant worth visiting on your next ski/snowboard trip.

We were at Big Sky for six days and were fortunate to find The Cabin a few days into our trip. Our first meal was so good that 3 days later we had to return. Everything about our two experiences was over the top GREAT ! Don 't hesitate to check The Cabin out.

Great management but not the best food. I know elk isnt exactly like beef but I want it cooked how I want. Raw and chewy is not the way I like my meats. Waiter seemed slightly overwhelmed by our hesitation between the bison burger and the elk.
