Wild Coast - Big Sur

Unbelievable culinary experience. They just sit eight at a time and we spent almost three hours enjoying incredible fresh and thoughtful portions. The cook and the host know their sushi and their well-being. The fish often comes from the CA Central Coast. That's Grandmakase, not sushi rolls, so if you're looking for regular sushi, go somewhere else. The costs are worth it for a kind of experience. Do you know that if you? back in Big Sur, it will take an hour to get to Treebones and there is no cell recording South of Big Sur, so prepared. We went to dinner with two new friends!

Great place to eat fresh Grandmakase. It's a lot of food and we? Is it worth it if you love sushi and all seafood.

It can dinate mesmerizing on the terrace, high above the Pacific Ocean and the Star Route in this magical place. Of course, the food is delicious, the staff is nice, and the service is very good. But the attitude... The attitude is different!

Hands down one of the most beautiful and tasty dinners I've ever seen. My friend and I stayed at the Lucia Lodge about 12 miles on the street and we were not impressed by their dinner menu they had up there, so we decided to look for the next restaurant and that was the place. We knew the views would be pretty good, but we didn't expect it to be absolutely stunning from where we wanted to enjoy our meal. We ordered our drinks and appetizers and simply sat in our chairs that admire the view and take all the rest and ocean air. It was indescribable how beautiful this view was. Since there were only one handful of restaurants within a 30-mile radius, we had no high expectations of the food. We went through very fast how great the apps were. Presentation and taste, the Thai green chili pork ribs and the milk-free Clam Chowder deserve some awards. The meat on the ribs came slightly from the bones and the green sauce was exploded with delicious taste. The milk-free Clam Chowder was just as good if not better than normal Clam Chowder. I have no idea how they were able to make a dish predominantly hard on cream in some milk-free while still the taste top notch, but she did. After our apps we were so excited to try our main courses. My girlfriend got the lobster Mac n cheese while I ordered the burger and added bacon avocado. When the Mac n cheese came out, we were both surprised by the presentation of the plate. It came in a skill and stabbed with some small flowers. It looked fantastic. She dug in and realized that she didn't walk on the lobster. You definitely get what you pay here. It was so rich and creamy. When my burger came out, my mouth was absolutely watered. Again, presentation on point. The first bite of the burger made me realize that I enjoy the best burger I ever had in my whole life. The meat was so delicate and juicy, the bacon was perfectly cooked, the caramelized onions added an amazing layer, and the bungalow was roasted to perfection. I was totally crazy how good every bite was on this burger. I could have eaten a whole other food just to experience these flavors. From now on, every time I drive the coast, I guarantee that I stop eating in this restaurant. The experience was phenomenal and I wouldn't have asked for more. 10/10 would recommend

This is for the omakase sushi (not the general lodge dining area). What an amazing meal! Great views with perfectly curated and extremely fresh fish. $90 for about 15 courses. Such a great deal! Reservations are a must and hard to come by. Definitely not one to miss!!
