The Black Diamond - Big White

We were very happy with our experience at Big White! Despite the mixed reviews we had read, I can confidently say that the service and food were fantastic. I'm not sure what others experienced, but my husband had the honey-glazed ribs and I had the pecan-crusted halibut, and both dishes were so impressive that we decided to stay for dessert. Everything tasted incredibly fresh! I chose the ginger cake and my husband opted for the crème brûlée, and we were not disappointed at all. We were so pleased that we returned for breakfast! The portion sizes are quite generous, so we definitely needed to go for a walk afterward to burn off some of those calories!

Marez - April 2018 - Celiac friendly! We visited once and it was wonderful! Then we decided to return for dinner, and it was just as amazing! We even returned the following night for another meal. Still fantastic! We also went for breakfast and it was equally great! After dining here four times in eight days, I just can't comprehend any negative reviews. Everything was incredibly satisfying. We chatted with the staff and the owners, and found them to be very hospitable, polite, and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I ordered a ribeye steak, but it arrived looking worse than a minute steak. When I expressed that I wouldn’t eat it, the arrogant owner slammed the plate down and insisted that I was going to eat it and pay for it. After I refused, he demonstrated his “professionalism” by giving me the middle finger. This is a great place if you're looking for terrible service!

Absolutely delightful in so many aspects. The pretzel was fantastic. As someone who doesn’t drink, I found the Mountain Mai Tai to be one of my new favorite beverages. And I can't forget to mention our server and the owners, who were exceptional.

The host/owner was a complete j Thought he was just a senior taking his day job (to make ends meet) a little too seriously, then I found out the j was the owner. It makes sense why his restaurant had all these empty tables. Went to Snowshoe Sam’s. They were warm and inviting. Something that Black Diamond lacks.
