Unlike other pizza joints, this pizza almost tastes better the second day. Location is cleanwith quite a bit of seating. The onsite arcade is a great space for parties. Staff is friendly though expect to wait a bitduring dinner time. Would love to see online ordering and a better online experience but won't hold me back from ordering again.
The original problem occurred when I received a poorly prepared pizza I had ordered for delivery. I had paid for it and tipped the driver, but my pizza, which I requested to be well done (not burnt), was not made to my specifications. They forgot my request for it to be cut into squares, and by the time they attempted to do so, the pizza was already sliced and unfortunately burned. Fast forward to a few nights ago when I called in to place an order. A young man on the phone informed me that Jack had said they couldn't deliver to me anymore. I opted for a pickup instead, but when I arrived after 35 minutes, I discovered that Jack had told the staff not to prepare anything until I paid in person. Thus, I ended up waiting another 20 to 25 minutes for my order. I later learned that I'm not the only customer who has been treated this way, and that the establishment operates strictly according to Jack's rules. His attitude is exceedingly rude and disrespectful. On a more positive note, I want to highlight Beth, the customer service representative, who was absolutely fantastic. She was professional, pleasant to talk to, and made my experience much better. Beth, you're amazing—thank you for your outstanding service! The world definitely needs more people like you. Please keep being wonderful!
I encountered an issue with the claw machine at this restaurant. I had my prize within reach, but I didn't notice the string until the claw picked up my toy and then dropped it when it pulled on the string. I'm seriously considering reporting this to the gaming board, as it could lead to a $2,000 fine.
If you're looking for great pizza, Godfathers is the spot to visit. While their prices can be a bit high, it's definitely worth it. Whenever my dad, little sister, and I were out and about, we would often stop by Godfathers for a meal. There used to be a location near West High School that we loved, but it closed down. However, the one up in the Heights is just as good!
My hubby and I were probably the first customers in for the day but the lady who took our order was nice and polite. Waited about 10ish or so minutes for our pizza which was absolutely delicious! Only slight problem was finding the napkins but that's only a small problem to have for such great pizza!
