Found this lovely pub on the way to Hove. Seating inside and out. Food was good. Quiet atmosphere and they had soft music playing. Service: 4 Location: 4 Hotel highlights: Quiet

Service not great. The two behind the bar were constantly on there phones laughing at videos. I can only assume the child (6ish) was the owners child, running and making loads of noise in the bar area. As for the food, it was pretty tasteless to be frank. Nobody bothered to check to see if everything was alright during the meal which is very odd by today's standards. You'd think at a beautiful old place like this the owners would be a bit more concerned about customer service. Like most of their reviews also say, we won't be going back
