Mcgirk's Irish Pub - Binghamton

We hosted a retirement party here in their banquet room. Planning from out of state can be a challenge, but Megan and her staff were absolutely fantastic to work with. Loved that their pricing included the food, drinks, and linens. (The cloth napkins were super cute, btw. All we had to do was show up a few hours ahead of time to put out our decorations! Also, our bartenders assigned to the party were wonderfully personable and friendly. So glad we picked this place for our event!

This pub was a surprise of a find! We were looking for a place to get out of a snow storm and we found McGirk's. The food is a mix of Irish and American offerings. Make sure you start with the pretzel bread for an appetizer. The corned beef Rueben sandwich and the potato soup were very good. Our server, Emily, did a great job taking care of everyone. There is a full service bar if you want a Guinness or a shot of Jameson but we did not partake. Maybe next time.

Excellent food and staff. Guests are friendly and happy. Great to see a good live band during dinner and a Guiness draugh again! Leave your worries at the door.
