The Bus Stop Grille - Birch Run

Great bar to stop into, worth the 5 min drive off 75. Fantastic burgers, homemade chips, and onion rings!! Rachel was attentive and quick for some thirsty road warriors, we will be back!!

First time here definitely will be back!!!!! we ordered the jalapeño bacon dip, western burger w onion rings and philly steak sandwich with onion rings let me tell you they didn't disappoint.

First time for us, did a take out food was great. I'll be back for sure.

This is a bar and grille, but based on the reviews speaking highly of the food we stopped here on a Friday night. Even by pub/bar food standards, the food was not good. Being in Michigan you 'd expect the award winning lake perch to be local or at least from the great lakes. The perch was some of the worst we 've had and we found out it came from Europe, that is very confusing. Also had the Bus Stop burger and honestly a frozen burger from the grocery store had as much flavor. I wasn 't going to leave a review but felt I needed to as we felt misled by the other reviews for this place that spoke so highly of the food. Maybe they had an off night.

Stopped here on a whim as we aren't in Birch Run all that often. We are sick of the chain restaurants so we always look for locally owned places and I'm very glad we picked the Bus Stop! Friday night perch dinner was excellent as was the beef tips and noodles that my wife ordered. She said they were the best she's ever had and she orders these frequently at other establishments. Our server was training a new waitress which caused no issues whatsover. Drinks and food were timely. We have to be back in Birch Run again in a few weeks and we will definitely be back. I'm looking forward to trying the blue gill.
