“Sometimes you want to go where everybody knows your name.” For us that “sometimes” is every time and that “where” is The Collins Bar. Yes, it’s directly next to our office but it could be on the moon and we’d be there for happy hour if modern travel would allow. The Collins Bar is the perfect mix of cocktail bar and chill dive. You want a creative take on a Boulevardier? They’ve got you. You want an ice cold PBR tall boy? They’ve got you there too. Oh, you like tots? Well get ready for the perfect little crispy and salty bar snacks. Everything served with a welcoming smile and not even the slightest air of pretension. The Collins Bar is our go to. Our ride or die. Give it a try and it’ll be your ride or die too.

Nice place to have some great mixed drinks and the burgers are pretty good too!

This is a fantastic spot with a really cool atmosphere. The drinks are quite creative, although they tended to be a bit on the sweet side, even for the classic cocktails.

While there’s nothing inherently wrong with this bar—it was packed, which clearly means people love it—it just wasn’t my scene. I can’t say anything negative about the place; it was clean, well-maintained, and clearly well-run. My experience simply didn’t resonate with me; it wasn’t my type of atmosphere or crowd. This isn’t a reflection on the quality of the business, which I can see is thriving. My opinion is just that—mine. It’s likely a great place for many, but it just wasn’t a fit for me.
