The Pit Bbq - Birmingham

I always have a great experience at breakfast here. It's hard to describe the atmosphere since it's a real hole-in-the-wall—there's literally no seating. However, the cashier is always friendly.

In my opinion, this is some of the best BBQ in Birmingham. They also serve fantastic breakfast sandwiches! Be ready to wait a bit, as there's often a line inside and at the drive-thru, but it's definitely worth it!

WHEN I TELL YOU (Yes, yes I am screaming) THAT THIS IS BY FAR THE BEST BBQ I HAVE EVER HAD, I MEAN IT FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY SOUL. I strongly recommend getting the large bbq pork sandwich and a side of slaw (remove the pickles, add a couple spoonfuls on the sandwich) and get the loaded fries ADD jalapeños (THEY’RE FRESH) and a side of ranch. Drizzle that ranch on top. *CHEF’S KISS*TRULY PHENOMENAL.Thank you, Pit BBQ!!!!P.S. the amount of people there it appears like it’ll take forever to order and get food, but they are SPEEDY too. *chef’s kiss*

After a day at the beach, we were on our way home and searching for a place to grab a bite. We stumbled upon this restaurant while googling options, and it certainly exceeded our expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, and we felt we got great value for our money. The only downside is that I wish they had picnic tables for dining. Since we were traveling, we had to find somewhere to eat. Overall, I will definitely be stopping by again! Food: 5/5
