The Greyhound - Birstall

We had a beautiful Sunday lunch here yesterday, lovely food and very friendly staff. Will definitely be going back.

We visited on the 19th July for our evening meal. We were greeted by friendly staff who asked us to find a table and they brought our drinks over to us. The meals were gorgeous. All home cooked and beautifully presented. We had a lovely evening. So glad we have somewhere nice and friendly to go to in Birstall.

What a fantastic pub! I visited with my family on a day off—seven adults, one child, and one baby—and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious, with good portion sizes at very affordable prices. Drinks were also reasonably priced. It’s a charming, traditional English pub with a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. Since we live just up the road, we’ll definitely be coming back more often!

We enjoyed the 2-for-1 steak and ale pie and it did not disappoint! The pastry was beautifully baked, and the steak gravy was excellent. Even the chips were delicious. Our son ordered the fish and chips, and he declared it the best he’s ever had—crisp and flavorful. We will definitely be coming back!

I visited for the first time on Sunday the 24th, and I was impressed by the delicious, hearty homemade food. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure a great experience. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Birstall.
