Remedy Cafe - BIRTINYA

I recently visited a friend who was staying in a private hospital for a few days and I needed a good cup of coffee. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. The coffee was bitter, the milk was burnt, and it tasted awful. It was also served scalding hot, making it difficult to even take a sip. The barista seemed more interested in chatting with others than actually making a decent coffee. I won't be returning and would suggest going across the street for a coffee that you can actually enjoy.

This restaurant is a convenient option for dining and grabbing a drink while at the private hospital in Birtinya. The coffee is excellent and the staff is very welcoming. They offer a variety of sandwiches, rolls, cakes, and toasties for a quick and easy meal option.

I stopped by the restaurant after leaving the hospital to grab a coffee, and received a cup of something that felt like it was brewed on the surface of the sun. It was extremely hot, making me switch hands to avoid burning my skin again. Judging by the scalding temperature of the coffee, it seems like the café is strategically located in a hospital lobby - perhaps catering to busy surgeons. After letting it cool for about an hour, it was finally drinkable. If only they hadn't brewed it in an oven, it might have been enjoyable.

High quality caffe in the foyer of the sick house. fresh, tasty eating including sandwiches, rolls, rolls, cakes, coffee, toasties and a special board. I had a chicken and salad roll that was really delicious and fresh. cost $9 so no cheap, but high quality. many tables and super friendly service. relaxed atmosphere. very recommended if they are close.

Really nice little place inside the foyer of the Sunshine Coast University Private Hospital; three staff working and all happy and helpful. Glad to find some herbal tea a large mug for $3.50 and they happily refilled with hot water so I could enjoy...more. Good coffee, well made and a very tasty slice of banana bread. Some good choices at reasonable prices and good to see some simple dishes such as beans on toast for $6.50. A great little place; hope it survives as well.
