Gemündener Hütte

The Gemünden cottage is a mountain cottage in the Rhön. It is very beautifully located on the Kreuzberg and offers a great view over the rhones. The cottage is very popular in summer with hikers and in winter with skiers, as it lies directly next to the ski lift. The staff is always very friendly, but there is self-service. The cottage is well suited to take a break during a hike. You can have good food, drink a beer or enjoy coffee and cake in the afternoon. We were there two and arrived here during a hike. We had a cup of coffee and a piece of cake. We paid 9,40 euros for this. The ambience is very beautiful, it is rustically cozy with the very own charm for the rudes. Everything is typical for a mountain cottage with wooden benches and an oven where you can warm up. Cleanliness is fine, we had nothing to complain about. The value for money is very good.
