India Clay Oven And Grill - Bismarck

I live in Washington State, which has many Indian food options. This restaurant was one of my favorites I've ever tried, and it was also the best food I had while visiting North Dakota. I will be dreaming of it until I come back again. As a vegan, I was incredibly grateful for the many options available, and I appreciated that they were clearly marked with a "V" on the menu.

I can't pick a favorite part of this experience. The setting is beautiful and feels like you have stepped out of North Dakota into a different part of the world. It's a very classy-authentic atmosphere. The service was exceptional-they were friendly, genuine and full of amazing recommendations. The menu is large and can be intimidating for people stepping out of their norm to try Indian food. Ask for some guidance and they will be more than accommodating. They will alsodiscuss your spice tolerance and won't stear you wrong! The flavors are sensational, it was the authentic warm spices melded with fresh, tangy and bright flavors... Not to mention, the portions were generous! I will recommend this place toabsolutely anyone who will listen to me! GO GET SOME!

This is the best Indian restaurant in North Dakota! Their lunch buffet has a great selection with plenty of options to choose from. They also offer some unique Indochinese dishes, which is a rare find these days. The service was prompt in clearing empty plates and the bathroom was spotless.

This is my go-to spot in Bismarck. The food is amazing and the service is top-notch. I always order the paneer korma with garlic naan, while my companion enjoys the butter chicken with onion kulcha. The mango lassi is absolutely delicious!

We were a group of 15 people. The food at this Indian buffet was not as great as others we have tried. The meatballs were a strange combination of beef, chicken, and turkey, and they seemed like they had been sitting in the refrigerator for a while. The only fresh and tasty dish was the fish fry. There were only about 12-15 main dishes, with a limited selection of salads and desserts. Overall, we have had better experiences at Indian buffets in other locations.
