It had been at least 6 months since we last went to Ben's Bistro. It was poor then , and , unfortunately, it still is !I tried the Chicken Schnitzel, and it came out dried out and overcooked. The salad and chips accompanying the meal were quiet tasty, but could not make up for the poor Chicken. Price was $ 16.00 which was reasonable.I will not be hurrying back.

We hadn't been to the Club in quite some time as the last Caterer was a little hit and miss . The new people are absolutely incredible , and I don't mean that in a good way . The stir fry dishes taste like maggi packet sauces , the fried food either cooked to long or with really old oil or both . Its not often that my kids complain about their meals but as they say , out of the mouths of babes ! The presentation of the food was similar to that of the staff , it left a lot to be desired . The overall attitude of the staff , both in the kitchen and behind the bar was at best , miserable . When we questioned the taste of the kids fire engine drinks the guy said , " that's how we make it here" rather tersely . Later when we told him the chocolate machine had taken our money he just shrugged his shoulders and said its doesn't belong to the club . That's it ...It is such a shame because this place used to be so great and has so much potential. If visiting the area , for now I would have to recommend the Tavern down the road .

The menu is very limited and the food itself is only just passable. It is really disappointing as the new managers came in with a lot of promise but have not delivered. I could not recommend this eatery to anyone.
