The service was great, the table in the garden was very quiet and private... But good the food was amazing, particularly for the price tag, 26 euros for 3 courses and 45 euros for the fancier menu. Good wine selection as well. They also arranged a delicious alternative starter to arrange my wife dietary requirements. Sunny place well be back
The food was very very good: the two-star review was for the service at the restaurant. We had better service at the beachside chip restaurants in Coutainville. The young staff was inattentive: water glasses unfilled, dishes uncleared, left on our own for maybe 10-15 minutes before anyone came to look after us. Although we clearly stated at the time of the reservation (weeks ahead of time), and restated on arrival, that our party included a vegetarian and a seafood allergy, those two had to wait ages for their food, which made everyone else keep waiting, too. And the waitstaff consistently served them the wrong food. I'm not a stickler or a whiner, but for a prix fixe in a mostly-empty restaurant, this is unacceptable: for one with a Michelin star and prices to match, it's disastrous. Stick with Le Salicorne or one of the other excellent local options... Michelin or no Michelin.
Original dishes, casual but impeccable service, pleasant setting!
We had dinner on the evening of the New Year’s Day, my husband and I. We came on recommendation and were charmed by this superb gastronomic experience. All senses are awake at this precious moment with the benevolence of Nadia, the mistress of the room and his team. We discovered the met-thes agreements: wahou! Extraordinary! It is really the complicity of a star chef and his wife, very artists in their own way: it is the recipe for success! We finished the evening with the tea ceremony orchestrated by Nadia Hardy: that of our trip to Japan last April with a hook in Bulgaria, country of birth of our hostess. Since then, I have spoken to my children, my friends, my contacts... The mouth is going to work! It was a real thrill! What a remarkable evening! It is a meeting with Philippe and Nadia Hardy that we remember for life: beautiful people who know how to transmit their art and values. We recommend this restaurant and we will return with our loved ones. Véronique and Denis
