Mussoorie Indian - Blessington

Mussoorie near Dehradun valley in the state of Uttarakhand is called the queen of hills.It's beauty is enhanced by the Shivalik range of mountains on one side and the Doon valley down below on the other side.This is one of the best hill resorts in...India and summer is the best time to visit this place.I visited this hill station in May this year to escape the intense heat in Delhi.In fact all holiday makers descend here mostly in summer. Of course winter is also enjoyable for those who want to enjoy snown fall.It is well-connected by road and nearest railway station /airport is Dehradun.The Mall road is the lifeline of Mussoorie. All shopping centres, hotels are located on either side of the Mall.. Even some residential area is adjacent to it.It is a pleasure to walk on Mall road.Apart from shops vendors sale their merchandise on the roadside.Tourists walk on the Mall road leisurely , settle down or take rest on benches provided by the municipal authorities.There ar good sightseing places near Mussorie.Tourists make it a point ti visit Kempty Fall, municipality park, gun hill, Dhanaulty etc.Senior citizens go there just to take rest and spend some tome in pollution free ,calm and quiet atmospherep. Some very goog boarding schools are located here apart from the La Bahadur National Academy of Administration for training of IAS and allied services Excellent place to spend some good time.

We visited mussorie via dehradun, took a govt bus to mussorie from dehradun(its better option than to hire taxi), Altough we have to stand in line for the bus tkt for about Mins. Reach well earlier if want a ticket for the govt...bus. We reached mussorie in apprx hrs... Cool wind blowing with ample sunlight...refreshing feeling. Walk down the mall road is worth it. Also visited Kempty falls(crowded though)..had fun overall.

Of us are quite picky when it comes to spicy food and were all happy with our orders. The restaurant is nicely decorated and service fast. Reasonably priced too, we'll be back

This restaurant is above a pub and the food was very tasty. The menu was wide-ranging with many exotic dishes as well as the more established ones. They also had a good choice of Asian bottled beers.

The food in this restaurant is always so good. I have eaten in for the lunch special on a Sunday a few times but unfortunately the restaurant is usually empty so the atmosphere lacks a little,however it is worth it for the lovely courses is very good value. As a takeaway food is always good to.
