Domo - Bloomington

This hibachi grill is the worst I've ever been to. The ginger dressing was inedible, which was surprising for a Japanese steakhouse. The sugar packets were dried out. We had to wait about 1.5 hours before the chef even came to the grill. We were asked what we wanted to drink but never given a drink menu. There were no dessert options available. The food was burning and charred, and the smoke from the other grill suffocated us and smelled terrible. I do not recommend this place.

The staff at this restaurant were extremely friendly, welcoming, and entertaining! I have visited multiple times and recently brought my children for the first time - they absolutely loved it! The food was delicious and as always, I was not disappointed!

This restaurant was disappointing. There was too much soy sauce used in the dishes, and the chef mumbled while cooking on the grill, making it hard to understand him with his mask on. Overall, it was not a good experience. We spent $90, but only one person thought the food was just okay. We will not be returning.

One of the best places to get sushi in the city. I highly recommend trying this place if you like sushi. You might wait a minute but it’s totally worth the wait.

Absolutely miserable. They smothered everything in teriyaki sauce and heaps of sesame seeds. Both of which I hate. I am thankful that I ordered the white rice with my dinner instead of the fried because he dumped so much teriyaki sauce on the fried rice at the grill I could smell it. I did stop the cook from putting that stuff on my steak. So I ended up eating a 39$ with tip, 4 ounce cut of steak and 50 cents worth of white rice. I think THIS experience totally ruined hibachi all together for me. Which by the way, I use to enjoy quite often.
